Muay Thai coaching for beginner and intermediate students
I took my first Muay Thai class in 2006 and was immediately hooked. That day I joined Fight and Fitness
where I was privileged to train with world class instructors including
Bunkerd Faphimai and Neungsiam Samphusri, each (among many accolades) Lumpinee champions.
I fought my first smoker (beginner level competition) within six months and though I did not win,
training and competing was a blast and I continued taking classes, sparring, and competing for the next
15+ years.
In 2015 I moved to the Pacific Northwest and began training and coaching at Team Quest MMA where I
coached beginner and intermediate kickboxing classes. At Team Quest I had students of all ages,
abilities, and
experience. Passing on what I had learned was incredibly satisfying and it always fills me with pride to
see
a new student learn to kick like a pro. I thoroughly enjoy the technical, physical, and mental aspects
of teaching and learning martial arts.
